Do You Have A Project We Can Help With?
Philadelphia Racing Products is a high performance parts manufacturer for the racing and performance auto industry.
We offer a wide variety of aftermarket auto parts for restoration, racing performance cars, and the truck performance market. Philadelphia Racing Products (PRP) has a complete line of custom parts machined from billet aluminum using the highest quality aircraft grade material available. Each part is CNC machined in-house and then anodized for that finishing touch. All products are assembled and tested to assure you of a high quality product before any part is shipped. Some of our state of the art products include a dual return spring throttle cable bracket which is the answer for your new Edelbrock or open throttle Holley carburetor when you trying to make that connection to the pedal. If you purchased a new crate engine and are looking for those custom billet specialties to outfit your engine you will find many of the custom performance parts here in our online catalog. When you purchase a PRP Racing Product you can rest assured that you are buying the BEST!
PRP’s extensive product line covers a large number of product applications to fill your needs for high quality performance car parts, classic car parts, Ford performance racing parts and restoration parts for street rods. Each product is carefully machine in our manufacturing facility located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. All products are designed to be direct fit parts and be used for a specific application. Most pressure regulator mounting brackets and other performance parts are mass manufactured to control production costs and lack the exactness required for true racing performance. PRP’s brackets are all custom engineered billet aluminum construction and are direct bolt up for Aeromotive, Holley, Mallory, and Magnafuel regulators.
For those that are into Chevy performance, our billet electric water pumps are your answer for increased water pump performance. These pumps are a direct bolt on and are made of a full billet construction and have a heavy duty motor for that 50gpm of water that they move through the pump. Our remoter mounted electric water pumps are available for racers that are looking for something a little more extreme. Electric water pumps will not only keep your engine cooler but they will not rob any horsepower from the engine like most standard pumps can.
Laser Marking for Private Label Brands
As of January 2011 PRP Laser Marking was the new addition to the PRP Racing Products Family. PRP Laser Marking uses a YAG Laser which has the capabilities to produce any logo, date code, UPC Code, or Part number permanently into any metal based part.
The laser we use YAG (yttrium aluminum garnet) features a standard 1.064 microns and it emits a single infrared beam of high energy light to a focused area. For this reason it is ideally suited for absorption in most metals, but this small wavelength inhibits its ability to be absorbed by many other materials like wood, acrylic, plastics, fabrics, etc. This laser provides high speed and accuracy and is an ideal solution for most raw metals as well as painted or coated surfaces. YAG lasers are ideal for product identification and tractability because they product a highly legible and tamper-resistant marking that is resistant to high temperatures. It is more reliable and bio-compatible than printing with ink.
However, due to the intensity of the wavelength, one important factor when considering YAG laser marking is that the materials must also be able to tolerate the increase in surface temperature generated by the laser. This also includes the coatings of the metal. Some powder coatings do not work well with YAG lasers.
We also offer consulting on projects and artwork to make sure you receive the best possible etch for your product.

Grinding Bench |
BalancerAn engine must be balanced to ensure smooth operation. It minimizes vibration and maximizes engine life. |
Cylinder Head Shop |
Block DeckingDecking is the process of cutting down the portion of the block to which the cylinder heads mate. This is important for several reasons. First, it is often necessary to remove some material from this part of the block just to “square up” the cylinder heads. . |
Head Machine Mill |
Crank Shaft GrinderGrinding a crankshaft is a process of removing material from the journals in an effort to refurbish and reuse an expensive, yet vital component of an engine. It is usually done during the process of rebuilding an engine when needed, but also has some performance aspects which come along with the process. |
Line Bore – Hone |
Cylinder Head MillMilling involves removing material from the cylinder head (or block deck surface where the heads and block meet) to effectively reduce the volume of the combustion chambers. This method, which is also used to correct warped or imperfect deck surfaces, allows you to control the size of the chamber so you can get the volume needed to achieve a desired compression ratio. |
Vertical Mill |
Cylinder HoneHoning is a process of conditioning the surface of the cylinder wall to help with lubrication of the piston rings during operation. Honing creates fine crosshatch imperfections on the surface of the cylinder bore. |
Dyno Room |
Dyno RoomDynamometer testing of engines, motorcycles, vehicles and components is an essential process in performance tuning, troubleshooting, R+D development, endurance testing and verification of horsepower and torque. |

Custom Designed Performance Parts
Here at PRP we produce custom racing parts and custom designed performance parts for all types of industries. All products are mass produced using CNC milling and turning centers covering markets for the Chevy performance enthusiasts, Mopar performance enthusiasts, and even the diesel performance enthusiasts. The process starts with Cad Cam designed products which are tested virtually before a machine is even turned on. Once the product passes its test we then machine a prototype part that moves to our R & D department. If all fitment and testing is good and the approval process is complete then the product will move to production. Our facility not only manufactures parts for our own product line but also makes products for private label and even specific short run or large run jobs for other companies. We are a complete one stop shop from designing, prototyping, machining, assembly, and even packaging. So whatever your needs maybe, regardless of the size of your run size, PRP can handle the task.
Precision Engineering with 6061 Aluminum
Our ability to exceed your expectations for superior quality performance auto parts depends on many factors. The primary ingredient of our success and your high performance parts is the high quality metals used in the manufacturing process. All of our billet products consist of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. All material is brought in as a bundle which is 500lbs to 1000lbs depending on the size and shape of the material. The quality and type of material that we use is crucial to our manufacturing process because of our program layouts and the type of tooling that we use.
6061-T6 Aluminum is of the highest quality billet on the market. Lesser grades of automotive metal material will not have the surface finish or ware resistant qualities of this grade of aluminum. All machining is completed in house on our CNC milling machines and turning centers that produce the highest quality and most precise parts that money can buy. Our continued efforts in producing new innovative racing parts and performance products are part of what makes PRP stand out in the market.
Since we began manufacturing auto parts in 1997, clients have praised our innovations in product development and today expect only the best quality of aluminum mounting brackets, electric water pumps and new innovative performance parts.
