Sunoco Racing Fuel

Sunoco Maximal
Maximal Sunoco Racing Fuel Philadelphia Racing Engines
A 116 octane extreme performance leaded racing fuel designed for high revving racing engines with high compression ratios. Maximal’s fast burn rate makes it particularly beneficial in large-bore, large-displacement naturally-aspirated drag racing applications. It has also proven to be very popular in the highly-stressed naturally-aspirated big blocks used in truck pulling. Sunoco Maximal is very resistant to vapor lock, ensuring consistent fuel metering between passes

Sunoco MaxNOS

Maxnos Sunoco Racing Fuel Philadelphia Racing Engines

The fuel of choice for extreme performance applications where “power adders” such as nitrous, superchargers, and turbochargers are utilized. Sunoco Race Fuels engineers added components to this fuel to be able to withstand ultra-high pressure / high temperature combustion chamber conditions.

Sunoco MO2X
MO2X Sunoco Racing Fuel Philadelphia Racing Engines An oxygenated racing fuel designed for excellent throttle response in high compression, high rpm 2- and 4-stroke applications such as motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, and karts. It complies with sanctioning body fuel rules limiting oxygen content to 2.8 weight %. MO2X does not have to be drained from the fuel system after each use

Sunoco® Standard™
Standard Sunoco Racing Fuel Philadelphia Racing Engines

A 110 octane leaded race fuel that is used in many forms of motorsports.  Sunoco Standard is designed for compression ratios up to about 13:1 in conventional V8 engines with iron cylinder heads.  It can tolerate higher compression ratios in aluminum cylinder head applications or engines with smaller or more efficient combustion chambers.  While most racers use Sunoco Standard in naturally aspirated applications, it is also a good choice for mild nitrous, turbocharged, and supercharged applications.

Sunoco® Supreme™

A 112 octane leaded race fuel designed for competition engines routinely operating over 7000 rpm.  Supreme has a high motor octane number and a fast burn speed to ensure engine protection lap after lap and pass after pass.  It is designed for compression ratios up to about 15:1 in small block V8 race engines and can withstand higher compression ratios in smaller or more efficient combustion chambers.  Supreme’s fast burn speed also makes it a popular choice for 2-stroke race engines.

SR18

Ultimate high octane, fast burning racing fuel. If you have a high compression, high RPM race engine, 118 octane Sunoco SR18 is your fuel of choice. SR18 is an excellent choice for drag racing and truck pulling, especially large displacement applications. For oval course and road racing applications, SR18 will tolerate the high cylinder pressures in racing classes where there are no compression ratio limitations.

VP Racing Fuel

Leaded Racing Fuels: Oxygenated

VP 110
VP Racing Fuel VP 110

Designed for normally aspirated engines with CRs up to 1:31. With the highest motor octane of any 110 fuel on the market, VP110 offers more power and better detonation protection. Works well in 2-strokes. Spec fuel for DIRTcarNortheast, and Speed Truck Challenge.

C 12
Vp Racing Fuel C12 PRE

Best all-around race fuel made, for engines with CRs below 15:1. In applications about 6500 RPMs, C12 offers significant gains in power and torque, as well as lower engine operating temperatures. One of the winningest fuels in racing history, including NHRA, AMA, DIRTcar, Modified Tour and many others. Spec fuel for DIRTcar Northeast.

C 14
Vp Racing Fuel C14

Recommended for naturally aspirated engines operating at 8000+ RPMs with CRs of 14:1 and over in drag race cars, 4-stroke drag race motorcycles and PWCs (230 psi or higher). Spec fuel for NHRA Comp Eliminator, NMRA and NMCA.

C 16
VP Racing Fuel C16

Used in turbocharged engines, blown engines and nitrous applications with CRs up to 171:1. Recommended by the top nitrous oxide companies. Spec Fuel for NHRA Comp Eliminator.

Q 16
VP Racing Fuel Q16

Spans the application range better than any fuel ever mad – from naturally as – pirated to nitrous to blowers. Oxygenation requires a 4-6% increase in fuel flow, yielding 3-5% more power than competitive 116 Octane fuels. Offers more consistent performance from run to run and won’t vary dramatically with altitude or density changes. Recommended for engines with CRs up to 17:1 in any drag racing, circle track or off road application.

 Leaded Racing Fuel

C 11
Vp Racing Fuel C11

Recommended for CRs up to 12:1 with restrictor plates and standard flow heads. With unrestricted heads, manifolds and carburetors, C11 works very well to 11:1. Anticipate significant HP and torque increases. Used in NHRA Stock and Super Stock.

C 25
VP Racing Fuel C25

Recommended for CRs up to 16:1. Spec fuel for NHRA Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike and All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA)
